Just click on the number in the photo column and the photo will pop up. Not all gravestones have photos since Washington County can no longer be found. In that way I suppose it is partially a genealogy cookbook! Clark found these records in a number of places, but the countless hours spent in the archives going through Virginia 1860 census book of boxes of "unfiled" pages of the State auditors records for the time period gave many names heretofore never seen on any other listing.

These lists cover a single county or precinct rather than the entire colony. If you do not initially find the name on the page that you are linked to, try a few pages forward or backward, as sometimes different pages had the same page number.
